Cassie Courtney

My name is Cassie Courtney! I am married to my wonderful husband and we have two beautiful girls and a sweet baby boy. I graduated from Tarleton State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies Elementary Education (Bleed Purple!) and from Liberty University in May of 2021 with a Master of Arts in Applied Developmental Psychology.

This is my 10th year teaching. I taught 2nd grade for 5 years and this will be my fifth year in Kindergarten! I love to see the great progress the students make. I enjoy teaching because of the difference I make in my student's lives and the difference they make in mine. I love when I can see a student finally understand a concept or reach a goal they have set for themselves. I believe that it is important to make meaningful relationships with students and their families. Making those connections makes the student more comfortable and confident in the classroom, which makes them more likely to take chances and grow.
