My name is Jessica Kelly and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year.  This will be my eighth year teaching, but my seventh year teaching second grade. I absolutely love children and teaching!  I grew up here, in Burnet, and graduated from Burnet High School in 2006.After high school, I attended and graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in Child and Family Studies. I moved back to be with my family and have lived here ever since.  I met my husband, Tony, while at Tarleton. He is a wildlife biologist in the hill country area. Our son, Kyson, is 3 years old and keeps us very busy, but we love it. We also have two dogs (Maggie and Millie) and a cat (Marty).  In my free time I enjoy spending time at our family farm, reading books, crafts, and spending time with friends. I also enjoy scrapbooking, days spent at the lake and beach, and cheering for our favorite sports teams.
