About Me
Hello, my name is Olivia Perkins. I am the Music teacher at Shady Grove Elementary.
This will be my third year in Burnet CISD, and my fifth year as a teacher! I grew up in Denison, Texas, which is a town by the Texas-Oklahoma border. I was involved in all of the bands at Denison High School. I attended college at Tarleton State University to pursue a degree in Music, and was involved in the Sound and the Fury Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Trumpet Ensemble. I am affiliated with Tau Beta Sigma, and served on the leadership team for the Sound and the Fury. I am excited to be apart of Burnet CISD and the Shady Grove team! I am also excited to be teaching our young students about music! It will be a chance for them to sing, dance, and play instruments. I am ready to show them how much fun music can be!🎶
