What's Going On?
The first day of school is August 16th.
We begin the year by building relationships and teaching routines, expectations, and procedures. Ask your kiddo about their day when they come home and see all the new things they can teach you! Also, please encourage them to meet new people and make new friends!
Below, you can read about reading homework which will start at a date TBD.
Every night your child will bring home some books.
Complete the homework by:
- Do the practice set with at least one of the books
- Have the student read the books in their bag (see 3 ways to read a book below)/read the books to/with them.
- If it doesn't take the full 20 minutes, you can read to your kiddo, talk about the books they've read, or find another book for them to read.
- Sign the Reading Homework (RHW) line on the PAW page.
