The original proposition by the student reads, “On good deed day, you will do something nice for someone. It will brighten your day and someone else's. Good deed day was created to help kids (and adults) realize that everyone deserves a friend no matter their differences. Good deed Day will catch on and then every day will be a Good Deed Day! On this day we will celebrate by wearing bright neon colors to brighten up someone's day. A tradition associated with this day would be to pass it on to younger students who are coming into your school. There are no specific activities. You and your new friends will come up with what you do on this day!" Everyone is encouraged to wear neon colors and do good deeds on Friday, May 17!
