Marley Halloween

Our 1st and 2nd graders enjoyed a day of storytime, carnival games, face painting, and animals. Mrs. Darlene Denton from the BCISD Parent Resource Center coordinated the day for our students. She recruited the help of many volunteers, including Dr. Doug Marvin, principal of Quest HS, numerous QHS students, and many other volunteers!

"Say BOO to Drugs" Book Character Costume Parade

To conclude a Red Ribbon week of drug awareness and prevention dress-up themes and lessons with our counselor, Mrs. Johnson, students dressed in book character costumes on Friday. We had loads of fun with a campus wide costume parade! SGE students say, "BOO to drugs!"

Fun with the Book Fair and Reading Under the Stars!

We also had a tremendous turnout at Thursday, October 14th's Reading Under the Stars event! Thank you to our families and teachers for supporting our students and helping to grow a love of reading!

SGE wrapped up a week of Book Fair fun! The fair was one of SGE's largest book fairs in history! Thank you to our librarian, Mrs. Wilson, and the many volunteers who helped us spread reading cheer!
