Mrs. Ray's First Grade Class

I have taught first grade for 21 years, all in Burnet.  I graduated from Burnet and went on to graduate from Texas State University.  My husband, of 44 years, and I have three grown children who are all married. We also have 5 grandkids and one on the way, all under the age of seven.  My priorities are God, family and teaching.  My family is very close and still enjoy hanging out and going on vacations together.  I love teaching and have always been in first grade.  Seeing how much students grow during their first grade year, brings me so much joy.  Plus, first graders are just plain FUN! I look forward to every break from teaching, but, I ALWAYS am eager to return to see my kiddos again.  Thank you for sharing your precious child with me!  I am very happy to talk with you about any questions or concerns you have about your child's learning and school time.  My conference time is M,T,TH,F at 2:25-3:15.  I can also conference on most days after school from 4:00-4:30.  Feel free to call the school and leave a message if you would like to schedule a conference or email me at [email protected].
