Mrs. Fowler
Hello, I am Mrs. Fowler and this will be my 9th year at Shady Grove teaching First Grade but my 22nd year teaching. Prior to coming to Shady Grove, I taught in Austin ISD for 13 years. During those years, I taught Kindergarten, First and Second grades.
I grew up in Austin, graduated from Texas State University and received my Masters in Reading from Tarleton State University.
I have been married for 18 years to my husband, Justin, and we have a 11 year old son named, Jaxon who is in 6th grade this year. We moved from Cedar Park to this area 7 years ago and love the area.
When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me on a golf course, watching my son show his 4H pigs, reading a book, taking care of my chickens, or enjoying family time.
I can't wait to start another year with a new group of First Graders!
