Kerry Wagner Pre-K

Hello!
My name is Kerry Wagner, and I’m so excited to be part of the amazing team here at Shady Grove! I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Governors University of Texas.

I’ve been with BCISD for 7 years—2 years as an Instructional Partner and 5 years as a teacher. This is my second year in Pre-K, and I’m thrilled to spend another year helping our youngest learners grow and shine.

My greatest hope is for each of my students to leave my classroom with a love for learning and the confidence to see the unique ways they can make a difference in this world.

When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me with my family. My husband and I have been married for 19 years, and we have two wonderful children—our son is a senior, and our daughter is in 8th grade. We stay busy with sports and activities, and I’m also a proud Co-Leader of my daughter’s Girl Scout troop.

I was born in Pennsylvania, grew up in Michigan, and earned my first degree in Electrical Engineering before beginning my career with Intel in Colorado, where I lived for 7 years. It was there that I met a Texan at work—and knew I’d found my other half!
