Kelly Yarborough

Hello! My name is Mrs. Kelly Yarborough, and I’m so excited to be your child’s physical education teacher for the 2026–2027 school year! This will be my eleventh year teaching elementary P.E. and my fifth year at SGE. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching Pre-K through 5th grade and coaching middle and high school sports, and I can’t wait to bring that experience and energy to our P.E. classes this year.

I grew up in McAllen, Texas, with education and sports in my blood—my mom was a middle school teacher, and my dad was an athletic coordinator. I graduated from Texas A&M–Kingsville with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Communications. While in college, I worked at The Little Gym, where my love for working with children truly began.

Outside of school, I’m a proud wife and mom to two sweet little ones—a curious little girl and a baby boy. I also enjoy taking daily walks with our two dogs, Maverick and Bluey, baking sweet treats, and making special memories with my family.

I’m looking forward to a fun, active, and exciting year filled with games, teamwork, and learning new skills. Let’s make this the best year yet in P.E.!
