Resource/Inclusion
My name is Kiersten Arnold and I am thrilled to be working as a Resource Teacher at Shady Grove Elementary. As we embark on this journey together, I want to extend a warm greeting and share a bit about what you can expect from our time together. My role as a Resource Teacher is to provide additional support and tailored instruction to help each student thrive. My goal is to ensure that every student has the tools and encouragement needed to succeed academically and personally.
Here’s what you can look forward to this year:
Personalized Support: I will work closely with each student to identify their unique strengths and areas for growth.
Open Communication: I believe that communication is key to success. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or updates about your child's progress. I am here to support you and your child every step of the way.
Collaboration: I will be collaborating with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Together, we will work towards achieving your child’s goals.
Positive Learning Environment: My classroom is a space where curiosity is encouraged, mistakes are viewed as learning opportunities, and every student is valued. We will celebrate successes, big and small, and work through challenges with resilience and determination.
Progress Reports: I will keep you informed about your child’s progress through progress reports sent out every 6 weeks.
I am looking forward to a productive and enjoyable year ahead. Let’s work together to make this a year of growth, learning, and success. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a meeting to discuss your child’s needs, please do not hesitate to contact me at karnold@burnetcisd or contact me at Shady Grove Elementary.
Conference period is 2:30-3:15.
Thank you for your support and partnership. Here’s to a fantastic school year!
