My name is Vannah Green and I am blessed to be an educator at the Shady Grove Campus within the Burnet School District!

A little about me:

I am married to my very best friend of 19 years and we have five children.

My husband is a retired US Marine, so we have spent many years traveling before making Burnet our forever home in 2016. I was born and raised Texan, however I had the privilege to live in both Japan and California before finding ourselves home in the Hill Country.

My original roots are in Denison, Texas - Birthplace of our 34th President Dwight D Eisenhower!

Our children include : Faith Green - who will be a senior and is a major theatre kid! Locals may know her as the Genie or SpongeBob from years past! She plans to attend Texas State after graduation.

Aaron who is a freshman and active on the swim and dive team as well as theatre!

Addy who is a 6th grader that loves dancing and making art of any kind!

My adult bonus boys are Cody and Noah Green .

Cody is a fantastic artist and Noah just came back from serving in the United States Marine Corps overseas in Japan.

My biggest love in life is God , and then family. I LOVE laughter and making others laugh. I love positive attitudes. I love to encourage those around me young and old. I love books, black coffee, any coffee shop smell , and rainy days. My favorite season is the Texas version of Fall, and my favorite color is pink. I graduated in 2023 with my Bachelors Degree in Early Education, and one day I will return to further my education with a Masters Degree. I have a LOVE of learning and do not believe there is ever an ending to learning. I want to foster that in the children I get the blessing of teaching.

I believe in LOVE DOES, and I am proactive in making sure my actions speak louder than my words. Teaching is not a job for me, rather it is a calling that I choose to dedicate a positive attitude towards no matter what my day brings. I adore silver linings in all clouds.

I am GREATFUL and EXCITED to be  BULLDOG Teacher at Shady Grove!

 It is going to be a FANTASTIC year together !
