Charlene Hefferin

I am honored to serve as Assistant Principal at Shady Grove Elementary and to be part of the Burnet CISD family. My husband and I recently moved to Burnet, and we are excited to become part of this wonderful community.

With over two decades of experience in education as a teacher, math specialist, and assistant principal, I am passionate about helping students grow and succeed while supporting teachers in their important work. I believe every child is capable of exceeding expectations, possesses unique strengths and talents, and deserves a safe, supportive environment where they can thrive.

It is an honor to serve the students, families, and staff of Shady Grove Elementary. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an outstanding school community and am excited for all that we will accomplish together.
