Mrs. Ray's First Grade Class

I have taught first grade for 20 years, all in Burnet.  I graduated from Burnet and went on to graduate from Texas State University.  My husband, of 44 years, and I have three grown children who are all married. We also have 5 grandkids, all under the age of six.  My priorities are God, family and teaching.  My family is very close and still enjoy hanging out and going on vacations together.  I love teaching and have always been in first grade.  Seeing how much students grow during their first grade year, brings me so much joy.  Plus, first graders are just plain FUN! I look forward to every break from teaching, but, I ALWAYS am eager to return to see my kiddos again.  Thank you for sharing your precious child with me!  I am very happy to talk with you about any questions or concerns you have about your child's learning and school time.
