A little bit about me...
This will be my fourth year of teaching, and my third year teaching 2nd grade! I absolutely love teaching second grade and am looking forward to getting to know your students! I graduated from Burnet high school in 2004 and went on to college at Oral Roberts University. In 2008, I graduated with a bachelor of arts in Theology.
After graduating, I moved back to Burnet to be closer to my family, and pursued a teaching certification with I Teach Texas. I became certified to teach early childhood through 6th grade in January 2014. I began my teaching career as a substitute in Burnet, until I was hired on full time as a first grade teacher in August 2014. After that first year, I spent 2 years teaching 2nd grade. I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade again this year!
I have an amazing daughter named Eliza who is 7, and most of my family lives near by in Texas. I enjoy being outdoors, playing sports, going to church, and spending time with family and friends. I am very grateful for the many blessings in my life and one of those is the privilege of teaching sweet 2nd graders. I am looking forward to another wonderful school year!
