December Gem of Appreciation

Shady Grove's December Gem of Appreciation is Amber Hagen! She's working in a new position this year as a math interventionist and puts considerable thought into developing engaging lessons that are needs-based. She assists in keeping data updated for all students in the building and supports teachers by sharing practical ideas that can be used in the classroom. She looks for ways to squeeze in extra groups throughout her day in order to reach as many students as possible and is completely determined to make a difference! On top of that, she is incredibly upbeat and radiates positivity. She is one of the biggest cheerleaders for SGE students and teachers!
