Hello, welcome to 1st grade! My name is Sara Sanchez and I am so excited to be your child's 1st grade teacher!
I graduated from The University of Houston in 2005. I have taught 1st grade for many years and have also taught kindergarten and 3rd grade. My heart has always been in first grade because I love watching the kids learn and grow at this age. First grade is a year of amazing reading growth and an age where they learn to be true friends to each other.
My husband, Victor, and I have 3 children. Austin (6) will be starting 1st grade this year. Aden (16) and Ethan (13) both play football so you can usually find us at the football field cheering on our Bulldogs. We also enjoy camping, hiking, reading and playing on the lake.
I believe communication is very important and look forward to partnering with you to make this an amazing year for our little Bulldogs!
